On this project, the brief was simple – to create a fabulous family kitchen that would last forever.

 Planning the space so that it would always meet the needs of the family was the first task, and this meant knocking through to the adjoining dining room and creating direct access to the garden. We also designed the new period sash windows and doors on to the garden.

 At the island, there’s a workstation and enough seating for all the children. A pantry, a boot room and a utility room enabled us to free up the central space for entertaining and everyday living.
