When our clients moved back to the UK, their search for the perfect family home concluded when they found this beautiful Victorian country house.

 The family includes many aspiring cooks – as well as Bertie, the rather inquisitive Labrador – so getting the kitchen right was critically important. Fortunately, the room has wonderful high ceilings and is flooded by natural light, so it was always going to feel spacious. 

 A large larder with bi-fold doors takes care of all the ingredients and store cupboard items, while the island hides three handy recycling bins. Inside the glasses cupboard, you’ll find some clever cabinetry and plenty of storage for stemmed wine glasses and champagne flutes.
