The luxury of space.

In this project, we were initially confronted by low ceilings and small interconnecting rooms. All very claustrophobic. However, we soon realised that it would be possible to open up the roof space and create an unusual light and airy bedroom featuring large oak trusses and beams.

By turning two separate bedrooms into one, we created a further sense of luxury and space. This is enhanced by the bedroom and bathroom furniture crafted from washed tulip wood, a material that, in daylight, takes on a wonderful silvery blond quality. By way of contrast, the surfaces are in stone. Unusual, but very striking.

The entrance to the en-suite designer bathroom is hidden within the line of the beautiful cabinet-made bedroom wardrobes. You don’t realise it’s there until you open one of the doors!
